Its my second month using Optix. Overall service is really really bad. Speed is normal but when it is available. Almost daily for 2 - 3 hours internet is not available in one full day. When there is internet Ping returns almost 25% packet drop, and if you ping for the full day, your packet drop will be increase to 45% due to 2 - 3 hours unavailability feature which I have mentioned above. After paying for the TV service, the first time I was able to see a channel was after 2 weeks, and from their list of 100 channels, almost 10 channels are not available on daily basis for whatever reason. And also, some of the channels do not have sound, so if they are claiming a list of 100+ channels, remember, you will be left with the usual list of channels, so don't go for the advertised list. Many channels just stuck and takes around 5 - 10 seconds to change, but I don't know this is the feature of Optix or Digital TV, but by no means this is an acceptable user experience. Customer service is really really bad. If you complain at their call center, they will say "service was available but just speed was slow". From overall interaction with their staff and everyone, you will have feeling that no-one cares whether your service is working fine or not. You will have the feeling that they are trying to convince you "service is available" and the issues you are reporting are just not issues. Even from the staff you will start to have feeling they even do not seems to care if the company runs or not. If you ask me, from my 1 and half month experience, right now I just want to throw away all their equipment I have and and service I am using, this is really a headache for me now.
