What is coronavirus?

Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that range from the common cold to MERS coronavirus, which is Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus and SARs, Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus.

Requirements for Claim Filing
The following documents will be required to file a claim for diagnosis, which shall be paid by the insurance provider up-front upon presentation of DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY REPORT
a) COVID-19 screening test report

The following documents will be required to file a claim for hospitalization, IN-CASE you have been hospitalized for the treatment

a) Duly-filled Claim Form

b) Discharge slip

c) Hospitalization bills

d) Any other documents as required by the company

The following documents will be required to file a claim for fatality, IN-CASE of Fatality of any family member due to COVID-19

b) Death certificate by hospital and NADRA

MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hospitalization for long can be availed via this policy?

You can avail stay in the hospital for the whole duration of your policy, for instance, if the policy is of three months, the company shall pay the expense for the whole three months of hospitalization.

What is considered a pre-existing condition?

The pre-existing condition is the condition if you already have been diagnosed for the COVID-19

Do I need to upload supporting documents to buy the policy?

No, only your CNIC Number and DOB are required to purchase the policy.

Who can be added in the family policy up to 12 members?

You can add your siblings, your parents apart from your wife and children, upon paying 1000 per member as an add-on, for members up to 12 (twelve).

Can I add my adopted son/daughter?

Yes, you can add your adopted son/daughter, provided that you have done all the legal documentation and that child is added in your family ambit as per NADRA Records.

Would I be able to claim from all TPL outlets?

This specific product is of TPL Life and can be claimed through this company only, any of the other group companies of TPL Corp and they are not liable in any context.

How can I claim my hospital stay?

You can apply for reimbursement after being discharged from the hospital, remember it’s not cashless hospitalization and the claim can be processed with original discharge slip from the hospital which mentions the number of days of hospitalization.

How many days will it take to process my claim?

It can take up to five to seven working days after the submission of correct and original documents as required by the insurance provider.
