Qubee Launches 4Mbps and Reduces Tariff Again!

We have good news for Qubee customers. The WiMAX provider has suddenly decided to slash prices of various packages of all tiers which is really good news for customers as now they can enjoy high speed broadband internet at lesser prices and higher speeds. That’s not all as Qubee is now also offering a brand new package with 4Mbps speed which is now the highest speed being offered by the WiMAX provider.

Tariff changes and other details for specific tiers are mentioned below:

Unlimited Packages:

Limited Packages:
The tariffs for limited packages have remained the same however the activation charges have been increased from PKR500 to PKR1000. It seems that Qubee is trying to discourage their users from opting for the limited packages as 20GB is a really small limit and most users hit the limit before the month ends which leads to users opting for additional data bundles which in turn increases the monthly cost. One more reason could be that Qubee recently gave free speed upgrades to existing customers and thus is now facilitating new users to get faster speeds at lower prices. Hence we also feel that it’s better to go for the unlimited packages by spending a wee bit more. We should also inform our readers that all 1.5Mbps packages have been discontinued as of now.

Shuttle(Non-WiFi):
In this tier, the existing Azadi Max package has been rebranded to “Explore Max” whose tariff remains unchanged at PKR900 including service charges but excluding all taxes for 1Mbps speed and a 60GB download limit subject to Fair Usage Policy. For more details on this package click here.

We hope that with the introduction of the newer and faster package, along with the reduced tariffs, Qubee will be able to lure more new subscribers into their camp.
