Important Announcement for Health Insurance customers

In the last few days, we have been approached by numerous customers asking whether their health insurance policy includes coverage of coronavirus.

After getting confirmation from insurance providers we can confirm that health insurance policies available on Smartchoice include coverage of coronavirus i.e. in case you are hospitalised due to Coronavirus and any test cost incurred before such hospitalisation, your insurance provider will bear the expenses.

So do not worry about unexpected medical expenses, if you have bought a health insurance policy from Smartchoice in the last 12 months, you are covered. However precaution is better than cure, please follow health guidelines as recommended by WHO and health agencies.

In case you still haven’t taken health policy you can still buy a policy now however waiting period of up to 30 days is applicable depending on the insurance policy you purchase.
